You will support your members as they progress through the national curriculum, entrance exam and GCSE preparation.
You will strive to see meaningful change in their progress and celebrate every achievement with them along the way!
You will be planning resources around the child’s needs as this could be likely on developing their knowledge on Maths. - Resourcing engaging and creative lessons to get pupils back up to speed in their learning. - Being able to manage and implement different behaviour strategies and coping mechanisms would be desirable in this role as the pupil will likely have behaviour needs that need to be met.
You should be flexible, adaptable and have a considerable amount of experience working within the education sector. Lessons could take place in either their home, care home or an alternative setting such as a local library. Students are likely to have difficulty responding to conventional teaching and may have behaviour and/or SEN difficulties.
