You will be responsible for delivering engaging and industry relevant Engineering Manufacturing sessions across Levels 1, 2 and 3, helping to prepare students for future careers in manufacturing and engineering disciplines. What You'll Be Doing Deliver high quality Engineering Manufacturing teaching and assessment in line with curriculum plans.
You should be skilled in Automation, PLC and SCADA systemsparticularly Siemensand have experience in project management. You will need to build a strong, collaborative and trusting working relationship with each other and their counterparts within the Operations DepartmentWhat you need as a Process Operator;
You will be IT savvy as the systems are state of the art, automated.
You must be able to work shifts including nights and weekends & Bank Holidays on a rota basis.
You will be responsible for developing manufacturing people, processes and strategy to deliver high‐quality, technically complex products. The role combines leadership, operational excellence and collaboration, ensuring manufacturing supports business objectives while embedding a strong continuous‐improvement culture.
You will need to have proven leadership experience.
You will work 80% on site and will ensure all teams work collaboratively, including logistics and stores.
You will be involved in the research of new manufacturing techniques and ways to implement new products, as well as overseeing ongoing training to staff, people management and facilitating audits.
