You will be joining an Embedded Manufacturing team based at our client site in Derby. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to the production team, designing and developing production processes, and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing operation.
You will preferably have experience working in a small company, or a company manufacturing high quality electronic products.
You will also take responsibility for the implementation of new products into production, ensuring there is sufficient manufacturing resources and working closely with the engineering team to ensure a smooth transition from prototype to production.
You must demonstrate a history of managing geographically dispersed teams and assets. - Commercial Acumen: Experience managing a P&L within a corporate structure, with the ability to navigate internal stakeholder politics effectively. - Technical Authority: credible knowledge of modern timber engineering and automated production environments.
You will play a key role in improving flow, quality, cost and delivery while supporting production teams and driving robust engineering standards. Key Responsibilities - Lead manufacturing engineering actions arising from daily operations meetings. - Analyse process constraints and support value stream flow improvements.
