You will work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, local authorities and network teams to ensure programmes are met with minimal disruption to customers.
You will be fully responsible for the safe management of the worksite, which involves the skilled operation of site plant (excavators and dumpers).
You must be proficient in managing deep excavations, including the strict, compliant use of trench support and shoring systems.
You will be conducting excavation on public highways, specific sites, and private lands.
You will be confident leading a team, managing day-to-day operations, and mentoring colleagues. A full, clean driving licence is essential, and an NRSWA qualification is highly desirable.
You should have experience in underground service detection using tools such as CAT and Genny, alongside a strong awareness of health and safety practices.
