You will implement individual and group interventions, adjusting and refining formulations to meet patient needs.
You will also support staff development through training programmes and provide supervision to Assistant Psychologists, helping to build a strong and skilled team.
You will help to create a warm, stimulating environment whilst working a mix of day shifts and sleeps to meet individual needs. You'll do more than provide care – you'll be a mentor, advocate, and source of encouragement, helping the people you support to achieve their own individual outcomes.
You will play a critical role in shaping young minds by providing support in the classroom environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting students with their individual learning needs, preparing educational resources, and creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
You will be their main point of contact throughout the school day, meeting them at the school gate and walking them back to their grown-up at the end of the day.
You will take a pupil-led approach to their curriculum, focusing on key EHCP areas and supporting them with speech and language sessions (including the use of PECs, Makaton and letters and sounds).
