Fire Alarm Engineer - Role and Responsibilities: - Install, service and maintain fire alarm systems to industry standards and client specifications. - Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure systems remain fully operational and compliant with regulations.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing microcontroller firmware, sensor drivers, and control logic to interface with a wide range of hardware including motors, pumps, actuators, RC modules, and an onboard Linux computer. This is a hands-on role working close to the hardware.
You will support project scoping with senior engineers, helping ensure delivery is aligned to agreed timelines, costs and resources.
You will work closely with delivery and account teams, with some travel and out-of-hours work required. What they're looking for - Hands-on hardware engineering experience across mixed environments
You will work closely with engineering teams to understand their pain points and translate them into practical solutions — for example, building reusable components like commands, skills, and CI agents; designing and orchestrating custom agent workflows; developing low/no-code agents for faster adoption; and creating and maintaining knowledge bases connected via connectors and MCP servers.
You will also manage the technical service escalation queries and processes via online and system portals
You will become a vital member of the technical service team to ensure that technical customer service care is high quality for all local business partners and end customers
