You will help to create a stimulating learning environment, deliver small-group activities and support children with early phonics, numeracy and social development. This Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant – Preston role requires a recognised Early Years Level 3 qualification, as the school is specifically seeking someone with strong Early Years expertise.

You will be supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The role involves working closely with the school SENCO, providing tailored support and regularly reporting on student progress throughout the academic year.

You will monitor monthly training reports, identify and work with areas where improved compliance is required.

You will also be assisting the Transfusion Practitioner Team in championing blood transfusion safety within the Trust.

You will also participate in the revision of policies that incorporate training.

You will undertake direct work with families, contribute to SMART plans, attend key meetings, and record interventions to evidence positive outcomes.

You must hold a full driving licence and have access to a car insured for business use (reasonable adjustments will be considered for applicants with disabilities).

You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Senior Care Assistant. We'll also need to see that you have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We're looking for people who are warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support.
