You will be contacted by your personal consultant (if shortlisted) for the Section Manager - Supported Learning role within 48 hours.
You will support our students to gain self-confidence and independence through encouragement and reassurance, by supporting the students in accessing a range of home, community, work related and basic skills learning programmes.
You should have experience of working, caring or voluntary work with people who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
You will need to possess good communication skills and inter-personal skills, have experience of working with young people, and experience of supporting people with learning difficulties/disabilities.
You should be trained in manual handling and administering medication, or will be willing to undertake training.
You will demonstrate: • A degree or equivalent qualification, plus a Level 5+ teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector. • Proven success as a skilled practitioner in teaching and learning, with measurable impact on learner outcomes.
