You will work closely with the class teacher and the SENCO to ensure the pupil has the support they require and you will be involved in assessments and provide regular feedback. As an SEMH Teaching Assistant you will need to have a confident, positive and resilient approach.
You will also be required to support across the classroom as required.
You will also line manage a team of Learning and Care Support Assistants and ensure the completion of relevant administration.
You will need to be:Trained in Manual Handling, First Aid, Safe Administration of Medication, Epilepsy, Anaphylaxis, Dysphasia and Diabetes including the safe administration of Insulin.
