You will be required to support class teachers and early years practitioners to deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences. Key responsibilities include supporting children with learning activities, promoting positive behaviour, assisting with personal care where required, and helping to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
You will need a DBS on the update service or be willing to pay £63.70 for a new DBS if you do not have one for us to be able to place you in a school. You will be working with children with a range of additional needs, including autism, speech and language needs, sensory processing disorders, physical disabilities and communication difficulties.
You will help identify triggers and barriers to learning, as well as implementing your knowledge of psychological theory and apply it in the classroom.
