You will directly contribute to reducing vulnerability to exclusion and improving long-term outcomes for young people who deserve to feel seen, heard, and understood.

You will support students with SEMH needs in the classroom, implement behaviour management strategies, and encourage positive engagement in learning.

You will support our students to gain self-confidence and independence through encouragement and reassurance, by supporting the students in accessing a range of home, community, work related and basic skills learning programmes.

You should have experience of working, caring or voluntary work with people who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

You will need to possess good communication skills and inter-personal skills, have experience of working with young people, and experience of supporting people with learning difficulties/disabilities.

You should be trained in manual handling and administering medication, or will be willing to undertake training.
