You must have: experience of working with children, as a parent or in a voluntary or professional capacity; an understanding of the basic needs of children; the ability to co-operate with others and work effectively as a member of a team; a patient, cheerful personality with a flexible, open and caring approach.
You will provide support for teachers, early years professionals and children to enhance experiences and achievement for children.
You will Support identified children and small groups in the classroom and nurture room and provide playground supervision.
You should enjoy working as part of a team.
You will work within a passionate and motivated team to create a stimulating, high quality environment for children. We are looking for someone who is nurturing and creative.
You will be highly motivated, with excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. This is a part-time temporary post working Monday and Tuesday 9.00am until 2.45pm until June
You will provide support to children and young people with additional support needs within Millersneuk Primary School.
You will be responsible for the personal care and needs of pupils under the direction of the class/subject teacher.
You will help pupils with specific learning activities and to follow instructions and organise their work.
You will ensure that appropriate interventions, adjustments, and resources are in place and regularly reviewed with the learners to enable all learners to progress and achieve their qualifications.
You will take an individualised yet methodical and organised approach to supporting learners whilst ensuring attention to detail and delivering to the highest possible quality standards.
