You will ideally have relevant experience of leading and developing teams within supported living services for adults with learning disabilities.
You will be an effective and strong leader with the passion and commitment to making a difference - Have experience of dealing with support plans and risk assessments and have up to date knowledge of CQC guidelines
You will also provide technical and administrative support to the Mathematics Department, both in lessons and extra-curricular activities. The successful applicant will have a commitment to working to support the success of all young people and a willingness to engage fully in continued professional development.
You will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, including Adult Social Care and NHS Health staff. Managing safeguarding cases, assessing risk and coordinating care management effectively are key responsibilities.
You will engage with service users, families and partner agencies to promote person-centred support.
You will learn how to assess and control risks, understand legal responsibilities, and investigate incidents. Step 2 – NEBOSH General Certificate Build on your foundation with the NEBOSH General Certificate, the gold standard for health and safety professionals. This qualification covers workplace hazards, health and safety legislation, and how to design and implement effective safety systems.
You will be lead and supported by a highly motivated and experienced team of local managers and will contribute to the further development of our services within the region.
You will be able to communicate positively and professionally with the families of the people we support, their advocates and other agencies.
