Learning Disability Support Worker jobs in Lincoln

You will be working as part of a team of support staff working on a shift pattern rota basis supporting a Male Service user who is in his mid twenties who requires care 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

You will need a minimum of one years' support worker experience and will also be required to administer medication when trained to do so.

You will provide personal care, administer medication, conduct security checks, and assist with domestic tasks. With your kind and compassionate heart, you will create an environment of warmth and care that will make service users feel seen and valued.

You will be supporting individuals from all backgrounds with learning disabilities, ASD, physical disabilities, challenging behaviours, acquired brain injuries and psychological disorders. Each service user is unique and will require a different approach to their care needs, outlined in their care plan.

You will be an informal point of contact for those in the service users circle of support (e.g. Families and Social Workers)Accurately report and record any issues related to the care and support of our Service Users to monitor their health and wellbeingComply with Health and Safety regulations and have regard for the Health, Safety and Welfare of others

You must have a full UK drivers license & be comfortable driving the person we supports vehicle.
