Learning Disability Support Worker jobs in Aberdeen
You will be expected to work on a 4-week rolling rota, which will include a mix of early, late shifts, and weekend working (shifts are: 7.30am – 3.30pm and 2pm – 10.15pm) Rate/Salary: £12.81 ph.
You will be required to work across the care and education services at the school.
You will play a key role in helping people achieve their goals, maintain their independence, and take part in activities they enjoy.
You will be supporting individuals within their own homes and out in their communities.
You must be comfortable with walking regularly and prepared for various weather conditions.

You will need to be able to get to our farm which is in a rural, remote location with limited public transport nearby. Service Information: Easter Anguston Farm is an operational farm, and local community resource, which serves as a training facility for adults with learning disabilities and other additional support needs.
You must be able to work every second weekend.
You will have the opportunity to support a variety of clients with a range of disabilities to maintain their independence while living at home, or in sheltered housing.
You will also have the added benefits of extensive training as well as the opportunity to work in a role giving great job satisfaction.
You must however be willing to undertake an SCQF Level 6 in Social Services and Healthcare (or equivalent) if you do not already hold one.
