You will be a confident, experienced clinician providing urgent mental health assessments, care, advice, and training across the acute general hospital (Emergency Departments and wards).
You will be able to meet the assessment and formulation needs of both working-age adults and older adults, and have a good insight into your training needs to fulfil this role.
You will maintain effective communication and liaison with the Service Users, Families and others whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality. Supporting Service Users with preparation of their meals, laundry duties, cleaning and social events. Maintain accurate notes and records as and when required.
You will be reporting to the Assistant Headteacher (SENCo).
You will need a 'can do' attitude, as well as be organised, reliable, able to prioritise work and follow instructions.
You should be able to demonstrate your understanding, knowledge and prior experience within these areas.
