You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK. Flexibility in your availability, with the ability to travel to different care settings. A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively. A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.
You must have excellent communication skills as you will be working alongside our qualified theatre staff to provide direct support to patients undergoing surgery, checking them in, attaching monitoring and completing documentation.
You will help to clean the theatre between cases and keep it stocked up ready for the next list.
You will be required to provide support to service users from initial contact with the service throughout their treatment and recovery journey, also implement tailored interventions aimed at reducing the harm caused by opiate use, either through group sessions of 1:1 engagement.

You will be working with disabled children and young people aged between 0 and 17 supporting them to progress towards independence.
