You will act for a diverse range of clients in the construction sector, including contractors, employers, professional consultants, and local authorities. To be considered for this role, you should have a minimum of 7 years’ PQE with a strong background in commercial construction disputes.
You will have a varied caseload and advise on contentious commercial disputes, including contract litigation, banking and financial services litigation, professional negligence, property litigation, contentious private client matters, construction and engineering disputes, and intellectual property (IP) matters.
You will handle your own caseload, lead teams, support junior lawyers, and play a key role in business development. The successful candidate will bring at least seven years’ post-qualification experience in contentious construction law, with excellent technical ability, strong client relationship skills, and a commercial mindset.
You should have relevant real estate experience and a strong interest in clean energy transactions. Although prior experience in clean energy is preferred, it is not essential, as training will be provided if necessary.
