IT technician apprentice jobs in Glasgow City

You will be based on one site for that week's shift, and then move over to the opposing the following week. As the "custodian", and lone engineer of the site during your shift, you will perform standard electrical PPMs and some reactive repairs with an electrical focus.

You will have support from a local Supervisor and Technical Manager.

You will be given one day per week in which to focus on your studies. For the other four days you will be working in the business, applying your university learning in a real-life engineering environment. Apprentices will be required to attend classes on campus for 10 days annually, once a month during term-time.

You must have knowledge and experience of analogue/digital electronic design, with the ability to fault find and debug problems, often to component level.

You will have a strong customer focus and a logical, analytic, systematic and creative approach to solving complex problems.

You will also have the reassurance of a job guarantee upon completion.

You will also be assigned an expert tutor to help you throughout your training.

You will gain the practical experience by using our cutting edge Livelabs.

You will then go on to sit the CompTIA A+ exams to give you the official certifications which will be recognised worldwide.
