You will be IT literate, experienced with MS Office (including Sharepoint/OneDrive) and other call centre or customer database systems.
You will possess a high standard of written and spoken English, numeracy and analytical skills.
You will be managing the incident and request lifecycle. Assist with operational Service Desk cover during busy periods. Identifying and reporting escalations and major incidents.
You will also demonstrate: Accountability and responsibility for your workload.
You will have at least 12 months’ experience in a similar role.
You will work with various stakeholders, internal teams and external suppliers to ensure all projects are managed from business case through to project closure.
You will influence through being a key member of relevant business steering groups, ensuring IT are a business enabler and aligned with key stakeholder’s initiatives.
You will use your customer service skills to provide user support on all company supported computers, applications, and software, troubleshooting problems, and advising users on appropriate actions.
You will be the first point of contact for all support tickets, where possible resolving or re-assigning as appropriate to other team members.
You will act as both a senior engineer and a point of leadership—guiding the team, managing incoming workload, and ensuring service KPIs and processes are consistently met. This is a hands-on position suited to a confident 2nd line engineer who enjoys problem-solving, supporting colleagues, and maintaining clear communication with customers, especially during periods of high demand.
You will be taking calls from customers and helping to resolve their IT issues; you will be the first point of contact for our client’s customers.
You will be resolving incidents using your own initiative, knowledge and problem-solving skills, using remote support tools to remotely solve and fix issues, keeping customers up to date throughout the incident life cycle.
