You will work in partnership with key stakeholders, including internal and external IT providers and consultants and managers and staff from various services across the council, to ensure continuity of existing business systems and to manage the introduction of new technologies, all as part of the digital transformation of the council.
You will be expected to cover all Shetland Islands and throughout the Highlands and Islands locality.
You will be expected to carry a small case load.
You will provide coordination support for facilities management services on the FedEx UK account.
You will aim to resolve any queries at first attempt or escalate to the helpdesk supervisor.
You will become a systems expert in Navison which you will use to log and track job requests through.
You will provide a comprehensive support service across the locality, ensuring the delivery of a flexible, effective, sensitive and customer-focused service. This will include the day to day operation of digital technology within SCRA’s Hearing suites, as well as utilising digital technology to deliver virtual hearings using our secure virtual platform (training will be provided).
You must be a national of the United Kingdom or one of the following countries: Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Hungary, Greece, France, Ireland, Italy, Spain, or Poland.
You must not have lived or worked in any country outside of the UK or those listed above for a period of three months or more, while aged 18 years or over, within the past five years.
