You will work from a fixed workplace We are currently looking for a Male Specialist Care Support Worker to join our team.

You will have experience in the following areas: Working with adults with complex disabilities in a care setting, and be prepared to undertake Health and Safety Training and attain a QCF Level 2 in Care within 3 years of commencement.

You will have experience supporting vulnerable people in a residential setting and if you share our values and are willing to make a difference to the lives of autistic people, we’d love to hear from you. This role involves supporting individuals with a range of needs to engage in community opportunities, supporting with activities and make the most of their day.

You must be able to drive and hold a UK driving licence to apply for this post.

You will need to provide a range of skills including delivering care to patients with complex health needs within their homes, supporting patients and their families. Desirable skills include the ability to perform venepuncture, simple wound care and catheter care.

You will be required to provide evidence of these. Holiday entitlement will be based on 29 days (pro rata) per annum rising to 33 days (pro rata) per annum after 5 completed year’s continuous service.

You must be 18 years old or over and have an understanding of what the role entails and be able to follow instruction.

You will also be added to the mentorship scheme which you will be financially compensated for, supporting an overseas clinician on their journey to becoming an Associate Dentist.

You will receive an enhanced UDA rate and the ability to train and mentor colleagues as a Lead Associate Dentist with Rodericks Dental Partners.
