You will work closely with a small, multidisciplinary engineering and manufacturing team, developing deep expertise in workshop processes and key equipment while supporting the delivery of innovative engineering solutions. Development Engineer - key responsibilities: Mechanical Design - Supporting the development and refinement of mechanical designs with a strong focus on manufacturability.
You will also spend 1-3 days in the workshop, testing and trialling the machinery before it is installed. You will assist in the implementation of strategic Lean initiatives throughout the Company, leading some Continuous Improvement projects. Main Duties/Responsibilities - Work with manufacturing cell leaders, lean co-ordinator and design engineering to improve process efficiencies
You will be provided with time, support and training but will be expected to take ownership of assigned work and be self-motivated to improve their skills. Previous commercial RF or related experience is a bonus.
