You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. You will be required to work on a rota basis including weekends. Main responsibilities of the role comprise of assisting in all aspects of minimal personal care and continence care.
You will ideally be experienced in care but this is not essential as full training is provided.
You must be able to drive and have a full licence.
You will also be required to manage the provision of in-class support for students with additional learning needs and those requiring support with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, mental health or medical conditions to access courses.
You will also be a point of contact for staff, students and parents.
You must be an effective communicator and be happy to work as part of a team and be able to use own initiative and work independently. Hours of work can include days, nights and weekend working.
