You will act as the primary point of contact for our largest distributor, working closely with their sales and product teams while partnering internally with Sales, Business Development, Inventory, and Logistics.
You will need good knowledge of using Control Systems to control the hydraulics, things like closed-loop control, motion control, servo control, PID tuning etc.
You will be working on complex, bespoke test rigs that operate like "testing robots", combining hydraulics, electronics, controls, software and mechanical engineering at a very high level.
You will advise our customers on their sales applications and demonstrate our solutions and expertise for these applications in our lab or directly at the customer's site.
You will travel approximately two to three days per week to customers, suppliers, and other Nordson EFD locations, primarily in the UK, Ireland, Nordics and by exception supporting in Europe.
You will also manage the technical service escalation queries and processes via online and system portals
You will become a vital member of the technical service team to ensure that technical customer service care is high quality for all local business partners and end customers
