You must be a driver with access to your own car for work. - Proven experience in managing high-quality Home Care and Support services. - Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop a service effectively. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
You will drive the safe and efficient delivery of developments, ensuring programmes, budgets, and quality expectations are met.
You will motivate site teams and manage subcontractors, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes for both the business and customers.
You will provide continuous 1:1 nursing care, medication management, monitoring of chronic conditions and coordination with local doctors and clinics.
You must also be able to demonstrate your experience of improving outcomes, and successfully initiating, implementing and delivering substantial transformational change programmes through visible leadership.
You will be required to join the Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to commencing employment with Midlothian Council, the cost of which will be met by you.
You will manage a diverse caseload and be responsible for the preparation of Justice Social Work Reports. Your work will take you across the local authority, meeting service users in Musselburgh, Haddington, Tranent, and Dunbar to ensure local accessibility and effective supervision.
You must be fully trained and proficient in the Level of Service/Case Management Inventory.
You will be resourceful, commercially minded, have strong leadership ability and excellent communication skills.
You will have strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail and be able to prioritise your workload effectively. Qualifications and Experience: - BA in Childhood Practise or willing to work towards is required by the SSSC.
