You will be responsible for mentoring graduate/junior engineers, in order to support the growth and development of the team.
You will be involved in producing structural calculations, reports, and specifications, as well as attending meetings with clients and collaborating with other members of the design team. The role is primarily office-based, with occasional UK-wide site visits as required.
You will be working on a wide range of schemes, from small refurbishment and retrofit projects to large-scale new build developments.
You will take responsibility for calculations, drawings and technical input and work closely with the whole team.
You will be exposed to varied and interesting projects and be offered clear opportunities for professional development and progression.
You will play a key role in controlling the programmed performance of projects, ensuring delivery within agreed resource, budgetary and time constraints while maintaining a consistently high technical standard.
You will also be involved in the coordination and project management of multi-discipline schemes, working collaboratively with other engineering and design teams across different offices.
