You will design and execute synthetic routes to target molecules, developing safe, compliant, and scalable processes for the manufacture of Drug Substances and synthetic intermediates. This role involves close collaboration with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality results within agreed timeframes.

You should be comfortable with the interpretation of analytical data e.g. NMR, HPLC, GC, FTIR and DSC. As Sterling is a contract development and manufacturing organisation, project assignments will be varied in nature and will always include hands-on laboratory work. Strong scientific reasoning, problem solving skills and flexibility are required in order to manage complex challenges.

You will ensure that all stock control team KPI targets are met or exceeded and involved in continuous improvement.

You will be fully proficient in the understanding of stock control functions accuracy, processes and be able to deliver excellent customer service through the supervision of the team procedures are met operationally.
