You will provide a comprehensive administrative and support service to the Council and its Committees, as well as other bodies serviced by the Council, including attending and clerking meetings, collating and issuing papers for meetings and processing reports and correspondence.

You will plan and undertake, inspections and visits to vessels of all types along with taking the necessary actions to provide advice, guidance and support to ensure compliance with the law and that risks to health are appropriately managed.
You will have an Honours degree in a relevant subject, as well as a REHIS Higher Certificate in Food Practice, to be able to work as a Food Safety Officer.

You should hold a SVQ2 or equivalent SCQF level 5 qualification in an administration related subject. Where you do not hold this, a minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative role is essential.
