You will have a primary focus of taking an on-site lead in the delivery of fire and security projects, including the installation and commissioning of fire alarm and security-related systems.

You will be working as part of a small and dedicated key account support team, so you will work regularly with a group of fellow Engineers and Apprentices.

You will be responsible primarily for identifying and winning new business opportunities (80%), as well as dealing with existing accounts (20%).

You will have the freedom to manage your own diary as you work from home and travel to meet clients across your patch- 3-4 days per week, to further business relationships.

You will be able to react quickly to situations, performing consistently under pressure and responding positively to changing circumstances.

You will also be able to demonstrate: - Degree qualified engineer/HNC/HND or proven competence through practical experience - A detailed knowledge of the working practices and demands of a large complex public building and/or listed building.

You will be the linchpin between senior stakeholders, clients, and the engineering team, ensuring the platform evolves to meet future demands while enabling data scientists to deliver cutting-edge research and innovation.

You will be accountable for the platform's vision, strategy, and execution, guiding the team to build and optimise a world-class data ecosystem.

You will be the face of the company, ensuring critical infrastructure from hospitals to data centres, stays powered when it matters most.

You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of critical power equipment. While the focus is on diesel and gas generators, your day-to-day will be varied and technically engaging.
