You will work in a locked rehabilitation setting using positive behavioural support principles to promote recovery and independence. The service benefits from an experienced MDT, including nursing, psychology, therapies and support staff, with strong links into local NHS pathways and commissioning teams.

You will be involved in delivering: - our Expert Witness services, by assisting our delay experts in delivering delay reports for adjudication, litigation, and other forms of dispute resolution; and - our Recovery service by assisting our contract and commercial specialists in providing strategic advice to clients whose project and major programmes are in commercial distress.

You must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Learning Disability Nurse (or similar nursing qualification but with considerable learning disability experience) or Social Worker (registered with SW England) on commencement in post.

You will bring to the role:

You will work collaboratively with family members, therapists, and other professionals to promote independence, take part in therapy programs, and support with emotional wellbeing.

You will be expected to support family members, offering understanding and sensitivity to their lived experience of trauma and be a source of support to reduce stress.

You should have an agreement in writing of support from your employing organisation when applying.

You will have strategic accountability for the programme’s research budget, working in co-leadership with the NIHR Coordinating Centre (NIHR CC) and the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) to maximise the value of the investment through the commissioned portfolio.

You will work as a highly valued member of the dental team, and we are looking for enthusiastic,professional, and motivated team players who can also work independently.

You will be responsible for ensuring the correct equipment and instruments are available for surgery sessions, complete administrative tasks for patients and daily running of surgeries.

You will be involved in delivering: - our Expert Witness services, by assisting our quantum experts in delivering expert quantum reports for adjudication, litigation, and other forms of dispute resolution; and - our Recovery service by assisting our contract and commercial specialists in providing strategic advice to clients whose project and major programmes are in commercial distress.

You should allow at least half a day to a day to read the packs and prepare for the panel. Panel meetings typically last a full day, starting at 9.15am and ending no later than 5 p.
