You will report directly to the Senior Engineering Supervisor based in Yeovil and support the REACH Obsolescence Programme by providing intermediate-level Configuration Management support. This role has day-to-day responsibility for configuration activities that impact wider engineering and customer teams.

You will be working with six people from principals to apprentices, liaising with operational managers, heads of departments as well as the Health & Safety teams. This role offers exposure to the Wider Control Damage Hazards team whilst individually being given the opportunity for professional growth within the function.
You will be the primary liaison supporting a key customer escalation, working closely not only with the customer but also with Honeywell's internal Supply Chain, Engineering, and Programme teams, as well as external stakeholders such as Ontic. Approximately 60-70% of the role will be customer-facing, with the remaining responsibilities focused on internal coordination and supply chain engagement.
You will undertake analysis and provide outputs to the Principal Engineers where they can provide assistance to develop designs further. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
You will become exposed to a wide range of technical disciplines, be able to follow technical argument and be able to influence the integrity of the final product.
