You will be stepping into a key Health & Safety Advisor role on a major highways project, where your expertise will directly influence site standards, workforce wellbeing and successful project delivery.

You will be supporting a well-established contractor delivering a high-profile highways infrastructure project in the Penrith area.

You will take the lead on environmental assurance across assigned works, providing experienced guidance and driving best practice throughout the programme. Key responsibilities

You will have the following qualifications & experience: Proven experience as a Health & Safety Advisor on large-scale civil engineering or infrastructure projects. NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent). Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and best practices.

You will be responsible for supporting site and design teams to deliver sustainability objectives and carbon reduction targets across live projects. The role will involve influencing best practice, driving innovation and ensuring compliance with relevant environmental standards.
