You will be responsible for the cost effective and timely purchasing of all materials that are required for our award winning developments.
You will also develop working relationships with external stakeholders such as all material suppliers and external consultants.
You must also have a valid UK driver’s license.
You will be required to create build programmes, oversee the progress of construction on 4-5 sites and ensure that the company quality standards are met.
You will have a relevant construction, trade or professional qualification such as HNC/HND in building, construction related degree, NHBC Accreditation programme or similar.
You will lead our 3-year build programme, ensuring projects are delivered on time and budget, to the highest quality standards.
You will make important decisions on a daily basis in order to maintain the smooth efficient running of the department, as well as having considerable financial responsibility through preparation of annual financial and operational forecasts and budgets.
You will have experience in taking projects through their full lifecycle, from tender to final account.
You will hold a relevant HNC or HND qualification together with professional body membership (RICS or MOICB) and you will be able to understand architect drawings, specification documents, as well as the relevant terminology.
You will also provide support with general administration and build strong relationships with Construction and Technical Departments. We will get you out onto site to see how the work you do in the office, contributes to the progression of the construction project.
