You will work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and other professionals to ensure pupils’ safety, wellbeing, and inclusion throughout the school day.

You will support pupils who present with ASD, social communication difficulties, speech delays, emotional needs or developmental differences. Your day-to-day role will include implementing personalised support plans, helping children engage in play-based learning, supporting transitions, and encouraging positive interactions with peers.

You will mainly be working with Key Stage 2 pupils who all have a diagnosis of autism and have significant delay in their academic and social ability.

You will be working in a class of 8 pupils alongside another experienced SEN TA and a specialist SEN Teacher.

You will share our values-based ethos in which a dynamic classroom culture engages pupils positively and actively in the process of learning so that they make excellent progress. Our pupils make rapid progress and achieve academic excellence in an environment of love and care.

You will have a safeguarding responsibility if appointed.
