You will drive into our customers depot, park your car securely and head up to the office to collect your work, do your vehicle checks, check your load matches the paperwork that you have received for the day and then proceed to carry out your days’ work.

You will be working directly for the customer, on contract.

You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of vehicles and waste management handling equipment to meet health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements.

You will also carry out scheduled preventative service and maintenance inspections to meet Biffa’s operator’s licence commitments.

You will need to have a Class B Driving Licence and fully recognised industry qualifications (City & Guilds or Industry Equivalent).

You must hold a valid LGV C+E, HGV 1, Class 1 UK licence with no more than 6 points (due to insurance policy), a UK digital tachograph card & a full DQC (CPC card) and need to provide a DVLA licence check code to proceed to assessment interview. A minimum of 6 months UK LGV1 experience is essential.
