You will provide specialist clinical pharmacy services and advice to a specified clinical speciality(s), demonstrating a high level of clinical effectiveness.
You will also manage and develop the delivery of medicines to Basildon hospital patients through homecare services in accordance with current regulatory and national standards.
You will need to be able to provide both NHS and Private services, have excellent communication skills and be empathetic.
You will also be provided with regular feedback and business updates, and opportunities to gain further accreditations for additional services funded by Asda.
You will work closely with the healthcare team to optimize medication therapy, manage discharge medications, and ensure seamless transitions of care. Your role will also involve participating in ward rounds, supporting clinical audits, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy department.
