You will be teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4, with full support to help you grow in confidence and expertise as a classroom practitioner. You will mainly be working with Key Stage 2 pupils who all have a diagnosis of autism and have significant delay in their academic and social ability.

You will be working in a class of 8 pupils alongside another experienced SEN TA and a specialist SEN Teacher.

You will also be required to provide 2 professional references covering at least the last 2 years, and complete our online application followed by a video or face to face interview. You will work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and other professionals to ensure pupils’ safety, wellbeing, and inclusion throughout the school day.

You will work with children in Nursery or Reception who require additional support to access learning and school routines. Many pupils supported in this role have EHCPs or emerging SEN needs. Your responsibilities will include supporting:

You will be required to run an after-school club once a week until 4.30pm and attend a departmental meeting once a week. The role is paid weekly at a daily rate of £95.29 to £105 per day and can become a permanent post in the future.
