You will be installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and generators. You'll perform troubleshooting of electrical systems as well as regular inspections, preventative maintenance and ensure all systems are compliant with safety and operational standards. You will need to hold a qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline (minimum HNC level) and have experience working in low volume or bespoke manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of DFM/DFA principles, particularly relating to CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and optics handling.

You will provide advice to clients and will take responsibility for managing and cultivating client relationships and securing new work.

You should be able to lead, or demonstrate the competency to lead, a team of less experienced staff as you may have line management responsibility.
