Support Worker needed in Shepton Mallet for flexible shifts. Competitive hourly rate, with additional payments for sleep-in shifts.
You will also be assisting with medication, use of mobility aids and personal equipment where required, and have a responsibility to report to the Registered Manager any significant changes in the health or circumstances of a client.
You will have frequent updates with your progress through compliance, applications for specific roles as well as receiving additional information on roles which we feel may be of interest to you. We are proud members of the REC and we have the highest standard of compliance.
You will be responsible for supporting classroom teachers in providing the best support possible to students ranging in the ages 4-19 years old with a primary diagnosis of autism (ASD) and speech, language and communication needs.
You will be supporting clients across the Mendip area and will be required to travel to deliver support. Mileage is paid at £0.45 per mile. There is the opportunity to undertake some home working however due to the nature of the role this is limited.
You will be provided with access to a 1-hour online revision workshop prior to sitting your exam. This qualification will set you on a route to becoming a Chartered Project Professional with additional study and experience.
