You will be involved in a variety of projects aimed at promoting mental well-being and independence among our service users.
You must be friendly and well-organised with an excellent work ethic.
You will provide face to face support to people living with mental illness to aid their recovery and tenancy management.
You will help provide individual care for young people, encouraging their development while working in a supportive team. Required are good interpersonal skills, a commitment to safeguarding, and flexibility to work on weekends. Full training will be provided, and you can earn additional pay for sleep-in shifts, with various employee benefits included.
You will need to be organised and confident in interactions with children and young people. An essential part of this role is a peripatetic basis and ability to be flexible on locations for children.
You should be committed to improving the life chances of the children and young people and share our ethos of never giving up and a full team around the child approach.
You will be working with young people aged 11 to 18 who have been placed into the care system for numerous reasons with an array of disorders, behaviours and needs and therefore require individuals who have the confidence, patience and skill set to successfully work with these young people and make a positive impact on their lives.
You will be required to supervise approved Contract Partners, providing risk assessments and method statements where permit to work is required for a given task.
You will also be required to use a Toughbook/iPad to capture all work activity and job status in line with workflow processes.
You will play a crucial role in supporting and caring for children and young people, helping them develop life skills, build positive relationships, and achieve their full potential.
You will work alongside a Senior Co-Worker on a structured rota, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
You will be a GP with full GMC Registration with a licence to practise and entry on the GP Register and you will be included on a Medical Performers List (or eligible).
