You must be a warm, caring and trustworthy individual who is committed to the welfare of others. Due to the range and abilities of service users in the Carlisle area you will need to be familiar with or willing to train to a high level of understanding and empathy to support older adults with dementia.
You will be paid on a weekly basis.
You will be working in one of our Extra Care block of flats in Carlisle. We provide 24-hour support for adults with learning disabilities and physical disabilities, providing some 1-2-1 support and responding to needs when required.
You will be working a range of shifts including nights and some weekends.
You will get 29 days’ paid holiday a year, increasing with each year of service up to 31 days.
You will provide person-centered care, assist with meal times, and lead social activities for residents living with early to mid-stage dementia.
