You will conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement treatment interventions.
You will administer and monitor medications, observe for therapeutic effects and potential side effects, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
You will have a choice of weekly or monthly pay. A minimum of twelve months' previous employed experience in a similar role is essential. Experience in providing care and support to people with autism spectrum conditions, and knowledge of positive behavioural support and implementing mental health recovery models is preferable but not essential.
You will also update online care records and complete medication administration.
You will undertake a wide range of duties, which will involve direct and indirect care of young people who have complex mental health needs within the Care in Mind residential homes and various other settings e.g. college/leisure activities.
You will complete your hours over fewer days leaving you with more days off per week than a Monday to Friday - Free onsite parking and free meals on shift - Career development to Team Leader, Deputy Manager and even Registered Manager if this is a career path you would like to explore
You will help provide essential support to young people in care, assisting them with daily activities, appointments, and behavioural management, all while creating a positive and nurturing home environment.
