You will be working in conjunction with design to produce equipment and/or support operation in production to produce safety-critical equipment. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
You will also have a pivotal input to the development and creation of complex test procedures to govern critical de-risking activities. This team plays a critical role in testing the software of vital boat systems, writing test procedures and delivering measures to significant stages of the submarine build, and is a team that is expected to grow rapidly, allowing for development opportunities.
You will apply your expertise in regulations and requirements that extend beyond those used within BAE Systems, including LOLER, Codes of Compliance, Weld Specifications, and Geometric Tolerance - Proficient in computer based analytical methods, including finite element analysis, CAD modelling and interpreting engineering schematics (Abaqus, S-Frame)
You will work as the Electrical Subject Matter Expert (SME) within SSNA’s Steam Integrated Delivery Team (SIDT).
