You will play a key role in all aspects of hydropower projects, from feasibility studies and concept design to construction and commissioning.
You will be responsible for leading the electrical engineering design of hydropower projects, including generators, control and instrumentation systems, protection, substations and transmission lines.
You will develop cost-effective solutions and adopt innovative design solutions in accordance with the Client’s requirements.
You will be Chartered or Incorporated status with the IMech E is preferred or working towards. Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant subject.
You will help run projects and asssit in checking other engineers work. The role involves conducting calculations, structural analysis, and design work for residential projects, extensions, conversions, and specialist steel connections. The engineer will work closely and collaboratively with architects and clients.
