You will support pupils who need extra support to complete tasks or have difficulty engaging with schoolwork.
You will also watch for challenging behaviour and help pupils promote positive behaviour while offering emotional support to help pupils in their emotional and social development, and you will inform other staff about any issues.
You will work with students who have complex learning difficulties and benefit from smaller classes, a personalised curriculum and additional support. These children are working at lower levels than their peers and need support in developing their communication skills.
