You will mentor junior engineers, provide technical leadership, and ensure integrated, low-carbon, energy-efficient solutions. --------------------------------------------------------------- Key Responsibilities - Lead the design of HVAC, ventilation, heating, cooling, and domestic water systems from feasibility to construction.
You should have a thorough understanding of structural behaviour and the application of relevant design and assessment standards. Knowledge of construction methods and contract procedures would be an advantage. It is also essential for you to have an in-depth understanding of current of Eurocodes, British Standards and assessment codes.
You will coordinate with various teams to ensure that designs meet business requirements, and will oversee community engagement and statutory negotiations. The ideal candidate has a degree in a relevant field and experience in the housebuilding sector.
You will need to be proficient in designing and calculating electrical services including small power, Data/IT, Fire Alarms, Security, Access Control, lighting, power distribution, renewables such as photovoltaics etc. , to the built estate on behalf of the County Council.
