You will own the engineering vision and execution of Keepnet’s core platform, operating across the UK, EU, US, UAE, and Canada, supported by distributed offshore and nearshore teams.
You will not be expected to do everything yourself. Success in this role will be measured by platform reliability, delivery predictability, team health, and customer impact.
You will be a great fit if you: - Have 5+ years full-stack experience, with strong JavaScript/TypeScript depth. - Are backend-leaning, with deep Node. js and API experience. - Have previously worked in early-stage start-ups or very lean engineering teams. - Have extensive evidence of being a hands-on individual contributor in complex codebases.
You will then negotiate the contract sum within the budget, including finalising costs to cover all late variations Issue variation orders alongside providing cost advice on any major variations prior to issue.
You will issue revised contract drawings to subcontractors, negotiating the cost of variations.
You will act as an external arm of their clients, liaising with and managing CDMO's, and other key Vendors.
You will be speaking with key stakeholders including C-suite, and VP level, as well as connecting with entry level and specialists within their clients.
You will take responsibility for the execution of the Quantity Surveying function on allocated contract/s, in order to fulfil the requirements of the Company in maximising quality of service and profitability.
You will provide a range of cost control and financial reporting duties across all aspects of construction work undertaken by the company.
