You will be working with six people from principals to apprentices, liaising with operational managers, heads of departments as well as the Health & Safety teams. This role offers exposure to the Wider Control Damage Hazards team whilst individually being given the opportunity for professional growth within the function.

You will be paid an allowance per KM when you are required to travel outside your base plant location.

You will be part of a supportive team doing all sorts of things – from security and searches at the gate, to managing deliveries, supervising visitors, and monitoring phone calls and CCTV. It’s a varied and active job involving tasks which combine some desk duties with more physical tasks such as lifting, carrying and walking to escort vehicles across the prison grounds.

You will be required to work a minimum of 20 hours per month including some Saturday mornings.

You must be flexible to work different days and times and comfortable in a quiet testing environment, with excellent attention to detail, monitoring for restricted behaviour and notice details from a distance.

You will be accountable for delivering robust, proficient manufacturing process technology as it applies to materials, tooling, part fabrication and assembly. The successful incumbent will need to be flexible for limited ad-hoc travel, nationally and internationally, and will be joining at our Engineering department of between 6-10 Manufacturer Engineers.
