You will provide the Ward Psychologist role for a male Learning Disability MSU, being an integral part of the multidisciplinary teams, providing psychological input to the service user groups, and supporting and supervising the Assistant Psychologist working on the ward.
You will be an integral part of the housekeeping team at Thornford Park a service for adults detained under the Mental Health Act, where you will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitors area.
You will be working at Thornford Park, and will provide the Ward Psychologist role across the male and female PICU’s.
You will have experience and knowledge in carrying a designated caseload, including assessing service users with complex needs, and designing and delivering specialist psychological treatment within mental health care services.
You will have a responsibility to improve clinical practice through education, training, coaching and mentoring clinical staff and facilitating audits and quality improvements to guide our teams to provide exceptional care.
You will promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all service users, employees and visitors.
